HOW TO BE MORE POSITIVE

Is the glass still half-full these days?

Wouldn’t it be great to have the type of mindset where bad news doesn’t result in a temper tantrum or brownie-eating meltdown; where the people who push your buttons don’t get a rise out of you anymore; where you no longer get your fuel from judging or arguing with others; and where you pay no mind to the insecurities and negative self-talk that want to run your show?

That’s impossible, you might be thinking.

The truth? It’s not. Make no mistake: it does take work to overhaul the software that’s been running your mind up until now but in the end, it’s well worth it.

Afterall, the thoughts we think and the words we speak create the reality we experience.

Isn’t it time you start aiming for a better reality?

Like Gandhi said, you have to become the change you want to see in the world. It all starts with you.

And there’s nothing as liberating and calming as a positive mind.

THE IMPORTANCE OF ESTABLISHING A MORNING ROUTINE

It’s amazing how many of us wake up and rush right into our days with little ceremony. It’s no wonder people feel overwhelmed, stressed, and burnt-out from morning to night. As it were: the way you start your morning determines the tone for the rest of your day. If you’re in the market for more positive and peaceful days, then read this article to learn about establishing an empowering morning routine.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU’RE HAVING A BAD DAY

We’re all human, which means at one point or another, a day will pop up in our lives when we’re just not feeling the whole ‘carpe diem’ thing. Most people let their emotions run the show and go with it. They accept that they woke up on the wrong side of the bed and that’s just the way it’s going to be for the next 24 hours. But flipping your mood is far easier than you think. In this article, I pull back the curtains and show you what’s involved.

WHEN YOU FEEL UNDESERVING

Have you ever felt as if good things were hard to come by in your life? Maybe even when you were pleasantly surprised with goodness, you worried that it would be taken away from you, or that the hand you were dealt was just some grand cosmic joke that would later blow up in your face. The fact of the matter is that good things can and often do happen to good people. Learn more about it in this article.

WHO ARE YOU FEEDING?

You may have seen cartoons or other TV shows where a character has an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other. The angel typically focuses on the good in an attempt to persuade the character into choosing a more loving road. The devil traditionally will emphasize less positive (or all out negative) points to lead the character down a road that may end destructively. In this article, I discuss the polarity between two characters in a popular movie and what it means for us on our own journeys.

HOW TO DEAL WITH ANGER

Anger. It’s such an overpowering emotion, and you’re bound to experience it as you journey through this world of ours. But do you know how to control your anger? And more importantly, do you understand what your anger is actually telling you about yourself and the situation you’re experiencing? In this article, learn about the importance of speaking up the next time you’re angry and how it can truly liberate you.

OVERCOMING THE TYRANT KNOWN AS DEPRESSION

It is estimated that 350 million people around the world live with depression. Often, depression can surface because of unresolved issues from our past and because of the various ways in which we give our power away every day. In this article, I discuss my own experiences with depression and I offer challenging questions that will help you take back the reins of your life and start getting the upper-hand when it comes to the life you want to live.

HOW TO HAVE A HAPPIER LIFE

For years and years, our dream life becomes our obsession. We believe that as long as we can capture it, we’ll be happy for the rest of our days. The only problem is that under this mentality, we project our happiness into the future instead of creating happiness in the present. In this article, I bust the myth about a happy life and show you what you can do instead to make happiness your reality now.

WHAT IT TAKES TO STAY HAPPY

Now that you know the key to happiness per the above article, you can create more of it in your life. But the fact of the matter is that rainy days will still come and obstacles will still find their way onto our life’s road. So how do you manage that? Find out in this article and you’ll be equipped with the tools you need to make bad days a thing of the past.

THE IMPORTANCE OF LETTING GO

Some of our most draining stressors come from situations that we feel the need to agonize over. Thoughts about the situation consume us. We feel weighted down, mentally taxed, emotionally exhausted. And yet all of this could be avoided by simply learning to let go. In this article, discover the ease that comes with releasing your situation or with moving from ‘analysis paralysis’ to stress-relieving action.

HOW TO NOT MAKE A BIG DEAL OUT OF THINGS

In the world of reality show divas and Bridezillas, we’re convinced that it’s perfectly natural to throw a temper tantrum when things don’t go our way. But is it really worth the energy, brain power, and emotional reserves to ‘lose it’ or can more growth and peace be gained from another way? Read this article for the quick-step assessment you can give during any situation that’s sure to keep your blood pressure right where it should stay.
